Exceptionally good. Fantastic choice for my husband's Birthday dinner. Frank our server did a fabulous job. Never had to ask for a thing. Danielle the Manager stopped by the table and even brought my husband some flan for his birthday! Excellent choice. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

This is a must! Fantastic menu and absolutely delicious! My favorite, the 1905 salad with a cup of their homemade black bean soup and a warm and toasty cuban sandwich! Yum, yum, yummy! Sangria made fresh and table side. Courteous staff and great service. Enjoy!

I would like to commend the Columbia on its outstanding performance for our Christmas experience in 2019 with them. We had both a meal there and then later ordered take out. We were very impressed with the friendliness and politeness of the staff even though they were under extreme pressure due to the crazy busy atmosphere. Truly amazing staff. Thank you Columbia!

Jessica was an awesome hostess and we couldn’t be happier with a server than Gabriella. Awesome meal, Gabriella customized my 1905 salad with Boston lettuce. Great meal and experience!

Their famous paella was sub-par. Very runny and almost like a risotto. Service was below average for large party, but they did make up for it by comping dessert which was very nice. The 1905 salad was actually pretty good, but there are better places if you venture to off St. George. Atmosphere is nice and charming.

First off, food was amazing. Didn't even get a picture. The server was respectful and he came from a town in my home country so that instant camaraderie was there. Definitely worth visiting to try the other dishes they have. And all we had was a pulled pork sandwich. Already planning a trip to go back

Wonderful meal with my wife in a nice warm and lively atmosphere. Jen our waitress was top notch - there when we needed her, but not overbearing. Food was tasty and cooked to order. Obvious why these folks have been open for well over 100 years! Keep up the good work!

One of The Best restaurants I've ever eaten at!! It's definitely an experience and worth the drive. With it's unique atmosphere, crafted menu and historical relevance it's a must dine experience. Customer service has always been phenomenal too.

Amazing food. The ambiance was amazing. We had an amazing time here. Our server was lovely, lively and helpful. She really made the experience a little extra special. The food was to die for. We were a table of 6 and every single one of us enjoyed what we got. There were zero complaints about the food, only satisfied customers.

Dinner last Sunday night with my wife and in-laws was perfect! Excellent service from a competent and friendly waitress couple with a wonderful chicken Roseata entree really did it for me. We split an excellent chocolate cake and the coffee is excellent. Best of all, on our second trip there we made believers out of her brother and his wife. That’s always a plus, when people you like also enjoy a restaurant that you recommended. Yes!

Went here for Christmas Eve dinner. Did not disappoint. Recommend the stuffed salmon, 1905 salad, martinis, red sangaria, chicken shrimp Barcelona, and bread pudding. Amazing food and wonderful service. Be sure to make a reservation. Love love love!!!!

Historic restaurant with great food. Everything we tried was delicious and the kids greatly enjoyed their sandwiches. Prices seemed reasonable for the location and quality of the meal. Would definitely come back again if visiting St. Augustine.

Food was amazing! We tried tapas for a starter and they were great too! The waiters and waitresses were nice and they wanted to help. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner in St. Augustine!

Upscale dining, reservations were on time, food was good, they did run out of some side dishes. The service was very attentive. It is worth a try. Menu had a wide variety of options.

If your in St. Augustine, definitely visit this establishment! The food was absolutely wonderful. From the tapas to desert the food was on point! I recommend the mojito. Fresh and authentic made tableside. What a treat this place is!

It was okay. Food decent. Interior was beautiful. Location is easy to walk to from hotels. The main thing is that the Columbia was just not as good as the last time I was there about 21 years ago. I was at the Tampa original restaurant and it was great so I was looking forward to this one. Just with most franchises the food was not as good. The server did not know his stuff at all and was changing jobs the next day.

Great service, great food and plenty of it! Only disappointment was we had a 5pm reservation for 12 and all had to wait until 515 for seating while they set up. Once seated it was a great experience. I will be back again! (May skip the big party next time..lol)

For lunch, the half'n'half combination of Cuban sandwich and 1905 salad allows you to try 2 of Columbia's signature dishes at one time. Both are delicious! Service is friendly and relaxed, so sit back and take the time to enjoy the ambiance of the Cuban-American setting.

What a train wreck. they must have changed all their employees that have made them successful over the years. I went with my family from out of town. We ordered from a new waitress. she was great. food came an hour later cold and not correct. I called the manager and he agreed. they sent food back to the kitchen and they already threw away the rice as they wanted to get out early. the manager avoided us and never came out to see how we were doing. People around us were frustrated as it took 30 minutes to get desserts. three and a half hours later we took the food home. Maybe the dogs will like it? please be careful before going to this restaurant. there are many restaurants that will take good care of you.

Went there on my birthday and while the restaurant was gorgeous, that’s where the good experience ended. The staff was very cold and stuffy. Our waiter had something negative about everything we ordered including “Oh, you’re not going to like that.” Once the food arrived, it was very fresh but it wasn’t memorable at all—almost tasted like Asian cuisine instead of Cuban. Would not return nor recommend.

We were served by Crystal today at the St. Augustine location , she was very professional and sweet. We enjoyed the 1905 salad, delicious bread and butter and the Cuban sandwich. Can't wait to dine with Crystal again, ask for her if you want a true dining experience.

Quick lunch with my younger brother was the best choice we could’ve ever made! Haven’t had Spanish cuisine this spectacular since my visits to Madrid, Spain! The lemonade was delightful. We shared a key lime pie slice. We should have gotten two slices because my brother said he had to eat through my half to get to his! 😩 I plan to return WITHOUT him!

Nice place decent food that you WILL PAY for. Staff is comprised by a wide assortment of young college kids or adults that used to work someplace else. Great place to bring the out of town relatives if you want to promote ambience while dining. But they really do make some great Sangria!

The St. Augustine location is always busy and its so beautiful inside. Our server was friendly and attentive even with multiple large parties. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. I love a rare steak and my husband was medium rare. Very tender. The flan was perfect too. Skip the sangria though- nothing to get excited about.

great location, good salad starter but meal was little lacking on both taste and preparation. normally have a better experience so they might just been little off on our day of visit. its one of the places we often return to when visiting st Augustine since it has good atmosphere.the meal was little overcooked and fish was dry. will try something else next time.

We ate here on Christmas Eve of 2019. It is a very beautiful place and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The reason for the low rating is this. We had reservations but still had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. We took our time going over the menu because it it quite large. We ordered drinks an a couple of appetizers which turned out to be a smart thing on our part. Once we ordered our food we waited for about 30 minutes finally our waiter came back to the table and told us he had forgotten to put our order in but it would only be another 10 to 15 minutes. Another 15 minutes later he told us it would be 15 more. Finally over an hour after we placed our order the food arrived. The only saving grace at that point was that the food was delicious. We were offered a free dessert to make up for his error. There were several other issues with our waiter but it would take forever to explain. Food is awesome, service sucked!!!!!

My first visit and simply the the 9 og us who attended agree on the following. Food was great, service was outstanding, accommodations were FANTASTIC, atmosphere spot on, great selection of foods with the Cuban Bread a real take home special. I can assure you we will be back to try more than the Bean Soup and Salad (Lent kind of restricted what we could have on a Friday.) Suggest you give Columbia a try.

This was a great experience! We had a reservation on Saturday evening and we were sat immediately upon arrival. Making a reservation was easy. The atmosphere is old world with a mix of casual, dressed up, and vacation dress. Everyone fits in here. It is most similar to visiting a friend's grandmother's house. The wait staff was attentive and the food was flavorful. The timing of appetizers and entrees was expertly done. Every dish was seasoned and cooked well. They know how to mix and meld flavors without overdoing it. Our table had beef, salads, stuffed grouper, crab cakes, steak, beef tips, and scallops. There were so many options on the menu and every one is worth exploring. We didn't have room for dessert, but their offerings looked enticing. Highly recommend visiting and enjoying the great service, food, and atmosphere.

5 stars all the way!! This restaurant is charming beyond words. The menu offers an amazing selection of tapas, salads, fish and so much more. Make a reservation as it is a popular spot for locals and tourists. Order a pitcher of sangria. It is mixed fresh at the table. Such a fun experience and perfectly blended. The food presentation is reason enough to make it a habit to dine here. You must get the 1905 salad which is made fresh table side. If you can save room for dessert you won’t be disappointed. The service, food, drinks and ambience are all exceptional at Columbia restaurant. Don’t miss this experience when you are in town!Make sure you go into the shop after dinner. You will be wowed by the beautiful Spanish pottery and gifts. Everything is reasonably priced.

Very disappointed by our experience. We went with 4 adults and 2 kids. The slow service cost us our afternoon in town. We were at the restaurant for over 2 hours for lunch! The drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, the bread (absolutely delicious) took 45 minutes. The server forgot part of our order, and the food was cold. Second round of beverages took another half an hour. She also brought the main dishes for the adults, and the kids had to sit for another fifteen minutes for their mac n cheese! You would think would be readily available, as it is on the kids menu. I understand and appreciate a leisurely meal, but for lunch with kids...our service was totally unacceptable. Very disappointed, as my grandmother loved this restaurant, and we had a much better experience 4 years ago for dinner.

Authentic Spanish cuisine. Soups and gazpacho are delicious. Cuban sandwiches are the best you’ll get outside of Miami or Tampa (although Tampa is also the location of the original and best Columbia). Paella, and chicken and yellow rice are also great. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I make much better sangria.

All I can say is delicious; 1/2 & 1/2 lunch accompanied by housemade sangria. Jonah, our server employed there for 9 years, was great, super personable and attentive. I'll be back Colombia....I have my eyes on the paella! 👀🦐🍅I felt like I was teleported to another place. The decor was lovely.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. We visited for the first time tonight with a group of 12. Tracey, our server, was a delight!! She is a gem and the restaurant is lucky to have her. She shared her passion for the company and food with us. The salad is a MUST, I ordered the Palomilla and it was also amazing. Overall a wonderful time and really delicious food.

Recent lunch with friend at Colombia St. Augustine. My first visit! Could not have been better! The restaurant decor was festive and lovely for Christmas! Our waiter, Thornton, was superb! Everything tasted great, except for the Tango Mango drink. When we told our server that it barely had any alcohol, her initial reaction was "Uh... Okay?" which was a little off-putting, but brought out a different cocktail to replace it. We waited quite a while in between ordering drinks and ordering our food. Those are the only reasons I have 4 stars. Hoping next visit will be better, we definitely plan to come back!

Food and drinks were delicious. Ask for Tracy, she’ll make you the best sangria. A little pricey ($22-35 per entree), but not much more than what you’d expect for a nice restaurant on St. George Street.

The restaurant itself, and the food deserve 5 stars hands down. However, our server was rude. Megan mocked both myself and my husband on two different occasions while ordering. It was the most abrasive treatment from a server I’ve ever encountered. I don’t know what else to say other than, we can’t be the first people to ever complain about her. It would be nice to know a manager was made aware of her attitude- however I don’t think the restaurant deserves to be docked any stars because of her.

We enjoyed lunch at the Columbia Restaurant. I recommend reservations. They have a large menu of Cuban-Spanish fare.  Their Original Cuban Sandwich and Spanish Bean Soup were delicious. The 1905 salad is made fresh tableside.  The restaurant was bright and nicely decorated. It is located in the heart of the St Augustine historic district on St George St, which is pedestrian only.  The restaurant has it's own parking lot nearby, which is validated for 2 hours free. Parking can be tight, however, it is so worth it!
